JavaME上に作った携帯電話向けのRich Internet Application環境、JavaFX Mobile、ができたらしい。

作るのはいいんだけど、JavaMEが稼動する環境ってそんなに資源が潤沢ではないわけで、その上にごてごて作りこみやるのはやっぱり何か間違ってるような気がするんだけどなぁ。5年後くらいに端末のCPUパワーがぐんと上がった後ならともかく。

ただまぁ、これで「アプリケーションはJavaで書いてね」ということにしたいのだろうから、Sunの商売としてはとっても正しいと思うけど。
